The third season of the popular Apple TV + series “For All Mankind” is scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 10, and prior to that date, Apple shared the trailer for the new season.

“For All Mankind” was one of the first Apple TV+ shows launched at the launch of ‌Apple TV+’ service in November 2020, and it continues to be popular with viewers.

The series imagines what the world might be like if the global space race did not end and the space program remained a priority in the United States. Season one saw a Russian cosmonaut reach the moon first, destroying morale at NASA and pushing the United States to catch up.

Season two leapfrogged forward a decade, beginning in 1983 at the height of the Cold War with the United States and the Soviet Union fighting over resources on the moon. Season 3 offers a second leap, as it travels back to the early 1990s with the United States and the Soviet Union racing to get to Mars.

The exciting new season of the alternate reality series takes viewers into a new decade, as it travels back to the early 1990s with a high-octane race to a new planetary frontier: Mars. The Red Planet becomes the new frontier in the space race not only for the United States and the Soviet Union, but also an unexpected new entrant who has a lot to prove and is even more vulnerable. Our characters find themselves competing head-on as their Martian ambitions collide and their loyalties are tested, creating a stress pot that reaches a critical conclusion.

Joel Kinman, Chantel Van Santen, Judy Belfort, Sonya Walger, Chris Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña, and Ren Schmidt all return for the third season.

After the first episode of Season 3 debuted on June 10, new episodes will follow every Friday.
