Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro goes on sale for $200 off Amazon today

Somehow, we’re in mid-April, which means graduation for the 2022 class is pretty close (congratulations in advance). If you are looking for an expensive and practical gift, then Apple’s latest 14-inch MacBook Pro will definitely be a welcome gift. It’s especially good to bear in mind today because this model is on sale for just $1 off its best price to date. Right now, Amazon is selling a MacBook Pro powered by the M1 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD for $1749.99 (US$200). Note, however, that the current discounted rate applies at checkout.

We introduced the latest 14-inch MacBook Pro, which can be configured with either Apple’s new M1 Pro or M1 Max processor, a rare 9.5 out of 10 in our review. We were impressed with just about everything about it, specifically its blazing-fast performance as well as its excellent battery life, which is some of the longest we’ve seen in any laptop to date. We also liked the impressive Mini LED display and its wide selection of ports, which includes a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI port, and a full-size SDXC slot. However, what we didn’t like very much was its hefty price tag. However, with today’s $200 discount, we feel more comfortable recommending the laptop.

Skullcandy’s Jib True Earbuds are one of our favorite pairs of wireless earbuds. For less than $30, you get up to six hours of battery life and an IPX4 rating for sweat resistance. The sound quality isn’t amazing for sure, but for the price, it’s pretty good. Plus, unlike the more expensive true wireless earbuds from Jabra, you can use any of the Skullcandy’s Jib buds independently. You can also pair these headphones with multiple devices, but note that unlike more expensive earbuds, Skullcandy’s Jibs don’t remember all the devices you’ve paired in the past. This means that you will have to keep adding them to their Bluetooth list manually.

However, the inconvenience is a small price to pay since the budget-friendly earbuds are on sale in several colors right now on Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo for $26.99 instead of $29.99. It’s a small discount but matches the best price of this year’s earbuds.

Looking for something more affordable than your 14-inch MacBook Pro? If you don’t mind sacrificing a lot of power, the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is about a quarter of the price and an excellent choice, especially for its screen. One of the best Chromebooks you can buy, the convertible features a QLED panel, allowing for higher contrast and brighter colors. It also comes with a better battery life than its predecessor, allowing it to operate for approximately seven and a half hours on a single charge.

It’s a great buy that’s an even better option today now that Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung are taking $150 off the model we tested, equipped with an Intel Core i3-10110U chip, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of eMMC storage from For $549. While that’s not the all-time low of $499 we saw last year, it’s definitely one of the best Chromebook prices to date. Plus, you can also get a $150 discount on the low-spec model with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of eMMC storage, and the less powerful Intel Celeron processor at Best Buy and Samsung, both of which sell for $399. The Galaxy Chromebook 2 is Samsung’s flagship Chromebook, which is less expensive and improves upon its predecessor with better battery life, a good QLED display, and a vibrant design.

For those in the market for fitness trackers, the Fitbit Sense is currently on sale for $199.99 instead of $299.99 on Amazon, which is close to its best price ever. It might not be one of our favorites due to the range of bugs and performance issues we encountered while testing it in 2020, but the flagship Fitbit Sense tracker still manages to deliver features you’d normally expect to find on smartwatches, such as – its GPS Heart rate monitor and SpO2 sensors.

Sense also offers some unique features; For example, we think it’s one of the best mental health trackers on the market, as it boasts an electrical skin activity sensor, which measures your stress levels by reading your skin’s microscopic sweat levels. It also comes with EKG readouts and an always-on OLED display, although note that the display cuts battery life in half from six to three days. Read our review.

The Fitbit Sense has FDA clearance and allows you to track your stress levels as well as measure your blood oxygen levels. The watch also has Google Assistant support in addition to Alexa built in.
