Moz releases a new toolkit that provides competitive insights targeted to SEO

Competitive Research Suite highlights the best search competitors and identifies strategic keywords and content opportunities to help you rank higher than them.

SeattleAnd May 4, 2022 /CNW/ – Moz, a leader in search engine optimization technology, today announced the launch of Competitive Search with Keyword Gap, a new tool that highlights the most important keywords and content pieces of competitors. The tool works alongside the previously announced True Competitor tool and is now out of beta.

Keyword Gap will allow users to improve search engine results page (SERP) visibility by presenting keywords that their domain rank for but can be improved upon; Keywords their competitors rank as not; And the highest bits of content and keywords contribute to competitors’ strong rankings. A new metric called Traffic Lift will be displayed with the selected keywords, showing what traffic users could receive if they bypass their competitors for a particular keyword.

The other tool of the Competitive Research Suite, True Competitor, can be used in conjunction with Keyword Gap. After you select True Competitor for up to 25 website competitors, these results (up to three competition areas) can be imported into Keyword Gap, where keyword analysis will begin.
