He said: ‘I just want to say thanks again for all the support. It was overwhelming and it was crazy to see how much love there is, so thank you, I try to respond to as many people as I can but, honestly, that means the world to me.
I’m in the gym today. I didn’t want to be here, I wanted to fit in, feel sorry for myself, but, listen, I wouldn’t let anyone derail me. My focus is what’s on the horizon and my goal, come on! No way!

Early hours: In the early hours of the morning after Tom was shown in New York that he had been the victim of an unprovoked attack and robbery outside a Manhattan bar, the manifesto began.

The statement continued, “Tom is currently in the hospital where he is being evaluated by doctors for his injuries which include a ruptured ear, a ruptured eardrum, and an injury to his previously broken jaw.”
“Despite this, Tom is in good spirits but needs to recover temporarily while doctors assess his ability to continue on his tour.”
“Tom is desperate not to let anyone down, but we have taken the precautionary decision to postpone tomorrow’s Washington show to a later date, details to follow,” the statement added.

He has a little more than a month layover after his Los Angeles layover before he begins the UK leg of his Cork, Ireland tour at The Marquee on May 31.
